What it won't do
What the app won't do is a feature.
Manifest will not verify that your safety equipment is in good condition. It records what you have and when it expires — the inspection is yours.
It will not file with the Coast Guard or any authority. It is a private record for your use.
It will not sync with other devices in real time. Export and share the file, or use iCloud to keep your own devices current.
Manifest is a record-keeping tool, not an inspection service. The accuracy of your manifest depends on the accuracy of what you enter. Check your gear. Update the record.
